How to Perform a Clean Boot in Windows

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your system as an administrator.
2.  Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time (Win + R).
3. Type «msconfig.exe» into the «Open» field without quotes.
4. In the System Configuration window, go to the «General» tab, select «Selective startup» , and clear the «Load startup items» check box.
5. On the «Services» tab, check the «Hide all Microsoft services» checkbox, then click the «Disable all»  button.

Before launching the game, close any non‑essential applications such as browsers, torrent clients, and communication tools. You may also temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software.

If you need to restore the original startup configuration, repeat steps 1–3, then select Normal startup in the System Configuration window and click Enable all on the Services tab. Restart your computer.

If a clean boot resolves the issue, you can try re‑enabling programs and processes in groups to identify which one is interfering with the game.
