Disconnecting from Ranked Matches

Technical issues can sometimes disrupt your Ranked Matches. This article covers the most common errors and how to troubleshoot them.

If you lose your connection or encounter any other technical problem while loading into or playing a Ranked Match, the system will register it as leaving the match early, resulting in a leaver penalty. Unfortunately, there is no other solution: the game server treats both intentional leaving and technical disconnects the same way. If rating points were not deducted for technical disconnects, dishonest players would exploit this.

When you disconnect or leave a Ranked Match for any reason, you will be blocked from joining another Ranked Match for a period ranging from 5 minutes to 12 hours (the duration increases with repeated early exits). If the block lasts longer than usual, check whether Ranked Matches were restricted due to playing with cheaters. In such cases, you will receive an email detailing the restriction, and the support page will display information about your block for violating Section 5.4 of the Game Rules.

The technical issues listed below are caused by your computer configuration or internet connection. In these cases, leaver penalties will not be lifted. However, our team is always happy to help you resolve any of these problems.

Connection to Server Lost

This message appears when the connection between your computer and the game server is interrupted. In most cases, this is caused by packet loss during data exchange. Sometimes, specific network routing features of your internet connection can also cause these drops.

If you receive this message during a Ranked Match while your internet connection remains stable, please refer to the solutions provided in this article

Kicked to Lobby

This issue occurs when the streaming connection between your computer and the game session server is interrupted. It can be caused by disruptions in both inbound and outbound traffic. However, your internet connection may remain stable (you stay online). To pinpoint exactly where the issue occurs, we need diagnostic data and logs from your game client.

If this problem occurs frequently, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article.

Client Crash

A game client crash occurs due to a critical data-processing error. Most often, this conflict is caused by incorrect memory management. In some cases, these system errors are triggered by your operating system architecture or background programs.

For solutions, please refer to this article.

If you encounter any in-game bug or error while playing Ranked Matches, we would greatly appreciate it if you report the issue to us.

If you are kicked for inactivity while joining a match, it means your computer is taking too long to load the map due to low performance or connection issues. We recommend closing all third-party programs (such as web browsers, torrent clients, or other running apps).

How to Avoid Being Blocked for Playing with a Cheater

If you notice a player in your squad using third-party software (usually evident from their behavior in battle, match results, or chat messages), please report them and avoid playing new matches with that squad.

If a player explicitly admits to cheating, do not queue for any more matches with them.

Do not join or stay in a squad if there are clear signs of cheating while in the lobby, or during and between matches.

You will never receive a Ranked Match block for playing a single match with a cheater, as you could have been grouped with them randomly.
